John Krenzelok has been involved in the real estate world for over 20 years. John grew up in the San Francisco bay area and started his sales habit at the age of ten, selling himself as a fence fixer-upper to his local Walnut Creek neighborhoods. He then got his CA Real Estate Lic where he worked hard for a few years in the bay. John continued rising early and built a successful career in construction for over 25 years in the SF bay area. He has worked every aspect of the industry representing sellers, buyers, and investors, in both the residential and commercial market. John prides himself on being involved in his community and being an active citizen. Married with 3 ‘grown’ boys, John understands the demands of life financially, physically and emotionally and always does his best to put the lives of his clients first. John likes people, places and things. He enjoys most things “extreme” slowing down only to allow his physical body to catch up with his racing mind. Working in the building industry for so long, John specializes in applying his expertise and market knowledge to the benefit of his clients. John uses his skill and foresight to proactively address details before they become a problem. John enjoys challenges and just making things fit right. Six words you can count on from John Krenzelok: love, integrity, commitment, passion, creativity, and fun. He will make your dream home real and attainable.
I was raised on the Oregon Coast and lived there for over a total of 21 years. I graduated with my Bachelors Degree from the University of Oregon. I attended Graduate School and earned my Master’s in Business Administration in 2006. Real Estate, having been a family interest for many years, has been a relatively natural career for me to pursue. This includes timberland, water front, golf course front and residential properties. I have also personally invested in real estate.
Hobbies: I have tried and enjoy many outdoor adventure sports. This includes, skydiving, parasailing, hang gliding, scuba diving, wake boarding, mountain biking, snow skiing, snow boarding, river rafting, white water kayaking and zip lining. I also enjoy working out at the gym and hiking with my dogs. I consider myself to be a world traveler in training. Since 2007, I have rafted down the Pacuare River in Costa Rica, Tully River in Australia and the Rio Apurimac in Peru. They were all very exciting, enjoyable and beautiful.
I am extremely excited to be able to provide opportunities for people to purchase a home and help people invest in their financial future. I consider myself to be tenacious, diligent, goal oriented and outgoing.
Stephanie’s love of Brookings has brought her back to town. She moved to Brookings with her family in the 80’s, and graduated from Brookings Harbor High School before attending college in California. Her frequent visits back throughout the years, and her love of the Pacific Northwest is the reason she once again decided to call it home. “Brookings has so much to offer. The people here are very friendly, we have numerous beautiful beaches and hiking trails to choose from, the wonderful Chetco River, and so much more! It really is a true gem on the Oregon Coast, and I’m very happy to be back.”
Stephanie has a Norwegian mother and an American father, and began traveling to Norway and Europe every summer early on. Because of this, she took her passion and dream to see the world, and turned it into her career. She worked for a luxury travel wholesaler for 16 years, where she quickly became a top sales producer. She was promoted to management, where she excelled in managing departments, and negotiating contracts for luxury villas and resorts. Sixteen years with one company taught her the many facets of running a successful business. Most recently, she spent 8 years in the nutritional supplements industry, focusing
on growing sales and managing the team.
She truly enjoys working with people, and her greatest strengths come from 28 years of experience. She has excellent communication, sales and negotiations skills. Customer service, loyalty and integrity is of utmost importance to her. She loves to help people reach their goals and realize their dreams and looks forward to working with you!
Alex came to real estate sales via a winding road; one running through Minneapolis, turning towards Culver City, and finally, thankfully, bumping to an end in Brookings, OR.
In Minnesota, Alex worked for a local TV station as Production Manager on an obscure little show called Mystery Science Theater 3000. That little venture parlayed itself into an 11-year career in film and television production management and a one-way ticket to Los Angeles.
She and husband Michael spent 9 frenetic years in LA, even the family dog had a full schedule. After 5 years of 16 hour days and 7 day work weeks, Alex changed course into animal welfare, working 4 years with the nationally acclaimed SPCA LA. She worked her way up and over into a law enforcement position and spent 3 very satisfying, yet emotionally draining years as a Humane Officer. ” I thought the career change would be accompanied by a great sense of accomplishment. In actuality, I found myself even more exhausted, physically and mentally, than I’d ever been working on set. In my eyes, the punishment rarely fit the crime and Mike and I decided it was time to move on-literally.”
One anniversary trip to Bend, it dawned on them that Oregon was rather beautiful… And the folks were friendly… and the air was clean! So they set out to find the prettiest, friendliest place in Oregon- and they did!
After springing one more dog from the pound, Mike and Alex left LA behind and are enjoying the fantastic wilderness, their distinctly amateur garden and the cozy sense of community they’ve found here in Brookings. Alex has been selling real estate for 8 years now and loves how each day is different. Its a great job, really. it’s not simply about real estate, it’s about welcoming people into the community, finding them exactly what they need, and making sure you’ve built an honest relationship in the process.
I spend most days showing folks from out of town how wonderful our little corner of the Coast is. The rest of the job is helping neighbors market and sell their home so they can move onto the next phase of their life, thats good work if you can get it. You never really stop learning in this business, each and every transaction needs and gets my undivided attention, the fact that many of my clients now consider me a friend? Now THAT gives me a sense of accomplishment.
My wife, two daughters and I moved to Brookings in 1970. I received my real estate license in 1975 and my brokers license in 1980. Since that time we opened a CENTURY 21 Agate Realty office in Gold Beach in 1988.
Born and raised in Brookings, my roots are here on the Oregon Coast.
I worked at a local casino as a card dealer for several years.
