Alex's Bio
Alex came to real estate sales via a winding road; one running through Minneapolis, turning towards Culver City, and finally, thankfully, bumping to an end in Brookings, OR.

In Minnesota, Alex worked for a local TV station as Production Manager on an obscure little show called Mystery Science Theater 3000. That little venture parlayed itself into an 11-year career in film and television production management and a one-way ticket to Los Angeles.

She and husband Michael spent 9 frenetic years in LA, even the family dog had a full schedule. After 5 years of 16 hour days and 7 day work weeks, Alex changed course into animal welfare, working 4 years with the nationally acclaimed SPCA LA. She worked her way up and over into a law enforcement position and spent 3 very satisfying, yet emotionally draining years as a Humane Officer. ” I thought the career change would be accompanied by a great sense of accomplishment. In actuality, I found myself even more exhausted, physically and mentally, than I’d ever been working on set. In my eyes, the punishment rarely fit the crime and Mike and I decided it was time to move on-literally.”

One anniversary trip to Bend, it dawned on them that Oregon was rather beautiful… And the folks were friendly… and the air was clean! So they set out to find the prettiest, friendliest place in Oregon- and they did!

After springing one more dog from the pound, Mike and Alex left LA behind and are enjoying the fantastic wilderness, their distinctly amateur garden and the cozy sense of community they’ve found here in Brookings. Alex has been selling real estate for 8 years now and loves how each day is different. Its a great job, really. it’s not simply about real estate, it’s about welcoming people into the community, finding them exactly what they need, and making sure you’ve built an honest relationship in the process.

I spend most days showing folks from out of town how wonderful our little corner of the Coast is. The rest of the job is helping neighbors market and sell their home so they can move onto the next phase of their life, thats good work if you can get it. You never really stop learning in this business, each and every transaction needs and gets my undivided attention, the fact that many of my clients now consider me a friend? Now THAT gives me a sense of accomplishment.

Michelle's Bio
I’m a fourth-generation native of the Brookings community. I grew up watching my grandparents and my father run successful local businesses in logging and accounting. My husband and I raised our four children in Eugene and recently moved back to Brookings to enjoy all the wonders of our beautiful beach town. We are so happy to be here.

My experience in technology, customer service, and design make me uniquely qualified to enhance, promote and market your property or find the perfect property to call your own. I discovered the excitement and satisfaction of matching an exceptional property with the perfect buyer while searching for my first home. Helping my clients meet their real estate goals is truly my dream job. I listen to my clients wants and needs to achieve the best outcome in every transaction and I strive to ensure that the home buying or selling process is fun, easy and stress-free.

When not helping buyers and sellers with their real estate needs, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, kayaking and reading everything I can get my hands on.

It would be my pleasure to help you with your next real estate transaction.
